This study discusses how the seal carving style of Huang Mufu contributes to contemporary art education, revolving around the balance between traditional craftsmanship and modern creativity. His distinctive style accords with minimalist aesthetics, bold strokes, personal inscriptions, and unconventional composition, reviving the seal art of Yishan for modern viewing. The paper outlines how tradition forms the base for individual expression and artistic exploration through a glimpse into the stylistic innovations of Huang. In the case study and qualitative method research, and document reviews have been utilized, which include studies on Huang Mufu's seal carving works and curricula in art education for the examination of the juncture between tradition and creativity in art education. A pedagogical framework outlining the basic training, critical evaluation, experience through projects, and peer feedback will be depicted for the integration of Huang's way of thinking in art education to ensure students can achieve mastery over the technical aspects while creating personal expression-that leads to artistic development and cultural heritage preservation. Issues include balancing the traditional techniques with creative freedom as well as the requirement for institutional support. The end conclusion is that adding more traditional art forms, such as Yishan seal carving, into contemporary curricula not only safeguards cultural heritage but will also give students meaningful learning opportunities for creative development.
